Moong Dal Chilla: A Delicious Indian Crepe



Ingredients

  1. 1-2 tsp Cumin seeds/Jeera

  2. 1 cup Moong dal

  3. to taste Salt

  4. 1 1/2 tsp chopped garlic

  5. 1 tsp chopped ginger

  6. 1 small onion chopped

  7. 1 tsp Green chillies

  8. 1 tbsp Coriander powder

  9. 1/2 carrot grated

  10. 2 tbsp grated capsicum

  11. 3-4 tbsp Vegetable oil

  12. 1/2 tsp Red chilli Powder

  13. 1/2 tsp garam masala

  14. 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Soak moong daal overnight. In the morning, add soaked moong daal, cumin seeds, chopped garlic and ginger, green chillies and mix.


Step 2

Then add chopped veggies, salt and all the spices.


Step 3

Mix well. Let it rest for 5-6 minutes.


Step 4

Now heat a pan, grease some oil on it. Add the mixture and spread. Then cover the lid. Once it's done from my side, flip it.


Step 5

Make all the chillas in a similar way.


Step 6

Serve hot with chutney.
