Healthy Mixed Sprouts Pulao Recipe



Ingredients

20-25 mins 2 servings

  1. 1 small Onion, chopped

  2. 1 small Tomato, chopped

  3. 2-3 Mushrooms, diced

  4. 2-3 Garlic cloves, chopped

  5. 1/2 cup Mixed Sprouts

  6. 1/4 cup Green peas

  7. as required Water

  8. 2 tbsp Oil

  9. as per taste Salt

  10. 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder

  11. 1 tbsp Coriander powder

  12. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala

  13. 1/2 tsp Kitchen king masala

  14. 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder

  15. 1/2 tsp dry ginger powder

  16. 1-2 tsp Cumin seeds

  17. 1 bay leave

  18. 1/2 tsp asafoetida/ hing

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Cut veggies of your choice and wash them.


Step 2

In a pressure cooker, heat some oil on medium low flame. Add cumin seeds, hing, bay leave, chopped onions and garlic. Stir.


Step 3

Then add mixed sprouts, green peas, chopped tomatoes, kitchen king masala, garam masala, kashmiri red chilli powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, dry ginger powder, diced mushrooms, salt and mix.


Step 4

After mixing, add little bit of water.


Step 5

Add soaked rice and mix well. Then add water as required. Stir everything and close the pressure cooker with lid.


Step 6

Put the weight. Cook on simmer for 5-8 mins. After 2 whistles turn off the stove. Once the pressure gets released, add coriander leaves and toss gently.


Step 7

Serve hot with raita or curd.
